Mildred Lea Ellis, 90 of Bald Knob, Arkansas entered her eternal home on February 22, 2021. She was born April 12, 1930 in Higginson, Arkansas to the late Tommy G. and Hazel M. Perry Paul. Mrs. Ellis exemplified Proverbs 31 of a virtuous woman and was known for always putting others first. She enjoyed working in her garden, quilting and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Ellis was married to the late Rev. David Ellis and together they spent many years working in the ministry and supporting missions. She was a member of Whitney Lane Family Worship Center in Kensett, Arkansas. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Rev. Perry Paul; James Paul; Junior Paul; one grandchild and 2 great grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, David D. (Wanda) Ellis of Vilonia; Daniel G. (Toni) Ellis of Ward; three daughters, Joanna (John) Hardin of Bald Knob; Judy L. (Jerry) Smith of Ward; Loretta S. (Troy) Jackson of Bradford; one brother, Bob Paul of Corinth, MS; one sister, Martha Hooper of Judsonia; 23 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

A visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with services to follow at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Howard Raney officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob, Arkansas.
