of Greenbrier, AR

September 14, 1939 - February 22, 2021

Vonia ''Fay'' Duncan was a cherished, beloved woman. She was happily married to the love of her life, late husband, Carl ''Buck'' Duncan, for nearly 60 years.

Fay was a mother, child, sister, cousin, grandmother, great- grandmother, and friend. She raised many children, grandchildren, and others during her life. She graced this world with her kindness, spunk, and love throughout her years. She stayed busy teaching people how to cook a country meal, tend to a garden, sew just about anything, and how to prepare yourself for life. Fay was the light that you ran to when you didn't want a whooping and she was the force that held the family together during harder times. She had a gigantic tender heart. Every stray animal in town knew that! She was stubborn in her pursuit to happiness. She would make you act right, always be kind, laugh during the good times, and she would always let you hug her a little longer when you needed. She enjoyed raising her family and watching them grow, watching the hummingbirds feed on the nectar, and she loved her husband more than anything in the world. She is valued, loved deeply, and will forever be missed. It is never goodbye to her, but always see you soon. May we all feel the sun on our face and know it is your love shining through us with all that she bestowed.

We loved going to Aunt Fay and Uncle Buck's house when we were kids. They were a wonderful couple and I know they are having a great time now in perfect bodies without sickness. Will miss her but so glad she is not suffering. Family will be in thoughts and prayers.
