Gona ''Ann'' Anola York, 92, of Batesville passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020.

She was born February 29, 1928 in Campbell, Missouri to Joseph Jarrett and Ethel B. (Thompson) Jarrett.

Ann was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Batesville; where she loved attending her Sunday school class.

Survivors include her daughter, Suzy Maxwell (John) of Jacksonville; daughter-in-law, Donna York of Osceola; six grandchildren, Doug Maxwell (Sheri), Joseph Maxwell (Ashley), Jonathan York, Allison Jones (Thomas), Ron York (Shelly), and Jennifer York-Leneave (John); and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack York; two sons, Ronnie York and John York.

Pallbearers are Doug Maxwell, Joseph Maxwell, Josh Maxwell, Jonathan York, Hunter York, and Ron York.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm Monday, December 28, 2020 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville with Richard Nuckolls officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Plains Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm Monday, December 28, 2020 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made in her honor to Fellowship Baptist Church, 1003 Batesville Blvd, Batesville, AR 72501.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance at this time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering and social distancing will be observed.

My dear sweet friend and prayer warrior,
Whom I happily shared a church pew and Sunday school with, every Sunday, each time I sit on that same pew I will miss her terribly! Miss Ann you finally made it to your heavenly home for Christmas! We will miss you here.. RIP.
