August 13, 1957 - December 15, 2020

Carolyn Darlene Holt, age 63, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020. The daughter of Mack and Dolly (Whiteside) Gellen, she was born August 13, 1957, in Zinc, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild, Joey Franklin McCutcheon. Carolyn loved being outdoors, sewing, fishing, and most of all, her family.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Leonard Holt; her sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Sandi Holt and Tim and Kimberly Holt, all of Harrison; her sisters, Thelma Earnhardt and husband Neil and Jewel Ferrari, all of Harrison; her brothers, Jessie Gellen and wife Donna of Harrison and Charles Gellen and wife Peggy of Hollister, Missouri; five grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.


Visitation was Friday, December 18, 2020, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, at Davidson Cemetery.

Graveside service was Friday, December 18, 2020, at 2:00 PM, at Davidson Cemetery, with Brother Brent Fisk officiating.

Pallbearers were Brent Fisk, Brent St. Clair, Jimmy Hensley, Pete Campbell, Danny Campbell, and Carl Rine.

Honorary pallbearers were Carolyn's family and friends.



Roller-Christeson Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines for COVID-19 and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

Prayers for family. Carolyn was a good childhood friend. I have a lot of good memories of her. I know her family will miss her deeply but she is with the Lord now.
