of Clinton, AR
July 15, 1941 - December 11, 2020
Beloved wife and mother, Patsy Ann Huie, 79, of Clinton passed away on December 11, 2020. She was born July 15, 1941, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Jimmy and Bernice Hunter. Patsy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Larry R. Huie, two sons, Larry W. Huie and Kerry (Tanya) Huie of Clinton, one daughter, Kim Saylors of Fayetteville, three granddaughters, Ashley Smith, Kaylie Deckard, and Brooke Saylors, one grandson, Jimi Huie, and two great-granddaughters, Amelia Smith and Kennedy Clinkscales. Patsy was a life-long resident of Clinton and member of the Choctaw Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, and had a special talent for growing flowers and plants. Patsy appreciated any opportunity to help others and could often be found volunteering at the Choctaw Food Bank. Her greatest joy was her family. Patsy especially loved attending church singing events and hearing her husband Larry play and sing.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses and staff for the wonderful care and loving kindness shown to Patsy at Ozark Health Nursing and Rehab and Ozark Health Medical Center.
Patsy will be greatly missed by her husband and children, extended family, and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held on Monday, December 14, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at the Huie Cemetery in Clinton. In order to comply with Covid-19 guidelines, attendees are asked to wear masks and maintain appropriate social distance.
