Jewell Dean "Judy" Cassell, age 90 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, December 8th, 2020 at Highland Court Nursing and Rehabilitation in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born at Davis Creek in Searcy County, Arkansas on July 7th, 1930 to George R. Glenn and Myrtle Davis Glenn.
Judy was a Christian, a wife, mother, mother-in-law, granny, sister, friend and the best chocolate roll maker in Searcy County. She enjoyed cooking, quilting and working in her flower beds. Judy and husband, Dalph enjoyed playing their guitars and singing at area churches and the Hilltop Church on Friday nights. Judy leaves a legacy for her family and friends to cherish and hold dear. Always remember to keep music in your heart and the Savior by your side.
Survivors include her sons, Kenny Cassell (Brenda) of Hilltop and Wendall Cassell (Ina) of Clinton; grandsons, David Mainord of Hilltop, Donnie Mainord, also of Hilltop, Cody Cassell (Jesse) of Marshall, Dustin Cassell (Natalie) of Bearden, Roby Cassell, Ricky Cassell and Randy Cassell, all of Clinton; granddaughter, Wendy Gross of Clinton; brother, Charles Glenn (May) of Marshall; and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Dalph Cassell; daughters, Irene and Joyce Ann; parents, George and Myrtle Glenn; and sister, Pauline Miller.
Graveside services for Judy will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 10th, 2020 at Canaan Cemetery with Bro. Roy Ragland and Bro. Shirl Williams officiating. Judy will be laid to rest beside her husband, Dalph Cassell who passed away in 2002. Bearers will be Cody Cassell, Dustin Cassell, David Mainord, Donnie Mainord, Dewayne Pierce and David Williams. Honorary bearers will be the Searcy County Sheriff's Department.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are practicing social distancing at our graveside services and all patrons are required to provide and wear their own masks. All of Cassell family spoke highly of Judy. Judy brought 2 loafs of bread to our family auction at the family reunion in 1995, they sold for $200.. Great memories

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked in the kitchen at the nursing home back in 96. Judy was there 3 times a day with homemade meals for her Dad, George Glen. Heaven has gained an Angel.

Kenny and family, So sorry for your loss. She was a special lady. I remember how she would make quilts and bring by to show us. They were just Beautiful and she loved showing them off. A lot of hard work and love went into them. She would bring us a plate of those wonderful Chocolate rolls too. I always enjoyed visiting with Judy. She was just a joy to know and be around. I at a loss for words on what this lady meant to me. I started out knowing her by riding to work at the shirt factory with her. I enjoyed many years in church services and she sang and played the guitar and also the piano. I will be praying for the family and friends during their loss.

Dear family, I loved Ms. Judy dearly. She was one of the nicest persons I have ever met. I use to play piano with her and Dalph up at Hilltop church when they use to have singings there.
