Glenda Louise Henderson, age 68, of Berryville, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, at Cox Hospital in Branson, Missouri. She was born June 20, 1952, in Parthenon, Arkansas, the daughter of Paul Everett and Ethel Louise (Smith) Henderson. Along with her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her life partner, Don Smith; her brothers, Everett Henderson and Troy Henderson and his wife Jackie; her brothers-in-law, Donnie King, and Rick Alexander; her nephew, Nathan King; and her sister, Reba Mae Henderson.

Glenda was a long-term resident of Carroll County, Arkansas. She worked for Tyson's in Berryville for over twenty years. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, playing cards, Dominos, and traveling around the area. She also enjoyed talking to her family and friends on the phone and watching wildlife. She loved her family and friends very much.

Glenda is survived by her sisters, Nina King, Betty Holt, and Diane Taylor, all of Harrison; her nieces and nephews, Crystal King, Candida Slechta, Michael Holt, Jarod Holt, Shaelea and Kylie Jo Kilgore, and Ethan Slechta.

Glenda is also survived by her dear friends and neighbors, Isaac Harrison, Margarita and Bill Harrison, Agnes Payne, Lawrence Sellick, Gloria Taff, Helen McGrotty, Don Morris, Penny and Marlon Malotte, and her caregiver, Lola Looper.


A memorial graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Liberty Cemetery located at the Newton and Carroll counties line near Berryville, Arkansas.

Honorary pallbearers are her family and James Edgmon and his family.
