Jerry Edward Vanderver, II

of England, AR

January 14, 1987 - November 12, 2020

It is with a bittersweet heart that we announce the death of our firstborn son, Jerry Edward Vanderver, II, also known as "Eddie V", on the 12th day of November, 2020. After 33 short years on Earth, he finally managed to make his way to his heavenly home, where he has so much joy and no worries at all.
He was a great man that many people knew, and he loved everything in life. He is a great son, big brother, grandson, and without a doubt the best uncle in the world. He was also a man that many called their friend.
When he wasn't hauling cars for Andy's Towing Service, he was racing them. He had a need for speed as well as a passion for storm chasing. He loved hanging out with his friends, hiking trails and mountains of Gods beautiful Earth. He was an avid hunter, and would fish every moment he was able.
His greatest love was his nephew Christopher Allen Vanderver Jr. He loved him so much, and he loved God.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Ernest Edward Vanderver and Bobbie Jean Vanderver. His maternal grandfather Wes Kyle, Jr. as well as his aunt Pam McCarty. He is survived by his parents, Jerry Edward Vanderver, Sr. and Cynthia Vanderver (Kyle). His little brother Chris Vanderver, sister-in-law Cathy Jo Vanderver. He had two nephews Christopher and Kaden, and a niece, Addie. His maternal grandmother Jessie Jones (Buddy), step-grandmother, Helen Kyle, uncle Mike Kyle, uncle Randy McCarty as well as many cousins. He will be missed by so many, but the joy he's brought will never be forgotten.
The broken chain, we little knew that evening that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke ours hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. By Ron Tranmer.
A private family Memorial service will be Saturday November 21st, 2:00 P.M. at Roller England Funeral Home (501)-842-3939.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

Man it's been a while though it still doesn't seem real. All the days we spent running cars is now a done deal. I'm still here working and I know you are looking down making some kind of joke about this broken old Ford crown. Rest easy sir. Thank you for being part of a chapter in my life.

Edward was such a sweet, polite and fun young gentleman. I am so glad that he and Micha were friends in high school and afterwards so Michael and I had the pleasure to get to know him. Anytime I ran into Edward he had a huge smile and a hug to share.

To the Vanderver Family..
My heart breaks for all of you to know such a horrendous loss.. I wasn't afforded the pleasure or opportunity of knowing Mr. Jerry personally. But I can see reading the loving comments here that he was a wonderful young man, and loved beyond words by many.. The family chain might at some point, begin to feel whole again.. But nothing will ever fill the void left of losing such a beloved and huge part of the entire family & friend units.. It's no consolation or comfort to those he's left behind, but no doubt Jerry has been met with arms wide open and is rejoicing with his loved ones that have gone on before him.
All my love & prayer to each of you.

Great Aunt to Chris & Cathy Jo Vanderver

Hard to believe your journey has come to an end. Seems not long ago we were carefree children unable to imagine life any other way. I regret that adult life gets so busy that those opportunities to continue making carefree memories are fewer and far between. I will be forever great full for the times our families did have together. Goodbye my friend til we meet again.
