I always loved waiting on Mr. Dean. He was always kind, funny, and had an amazing twinkle in his eye. When he and his family would come in to eat where I worked my day was always made by seeing him. I will miss him immensely.
When my brother, Gene’s life was ebbing (2008-2010), Dub was his friend in a way that I will never forget. How does one describe the friendship that spans a lifetime? Well, words aren’t adequate but my memory of them in Gene’s garage on a sunny fall day while they tried to figure out why some motor wasn’t working brings a wonderful scene to mind. Many are aware that Dub left this world a better place. He blessed my family by his presence. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of adjusting to his
absence.
Uncle Dub was a precious man who will be missed!
