We have so many fun and loving memories with Uncle Freddie! He always had a story. More recently we enjoyed the short calls to catch up. He loved his family and often shared their accomplishments proudly! May all the memories help provide comfort during this time of incredible loss.

Fred entered my life when I was trying to rebuild. His favorite thing was to say anytime someone gave me a compliment I would act like an Ostrich, run and hide my head in the sand. He showed unconditional love and encouragement when I didn't realize how much I needed it. He taught me not to hide and to be proud of my achievements. His care and interest in all my kids always felt like he was a grandpa they never had. My daughter whom is scared and uncomfortable around anyone cried when she found out we lost Fred. For such a short time he was apart of our lives he made a huge impact that will go on for years. We all will miss his honk as he drove past our house especially my youngest son. As life grew us apart Fred's presence was always known for encouragement. Our families hearts go to Deb, Constance and the boys because we have lost a strong warrior that never wanted to quit.
