I used to do veterinary work for Lester and Willadean. Very kind and gracious folks. One year I came out on the afternoon before Thanksgiving to work on a cow for Lester. Cold rainy day and we went to the house when we were done to settle up. Miss Willadean offered me a cup of coffee which I readily accepted. She was baking pies for the next day. She ask if I would like a piece of chocolate pie - it was delicious. Then she offered more coffee and a piece of pecan pie fresh from the oven. Oh my, it was so good. Then she offered me a piece of hickory pie. What a treat. She wasn't just a nice lady but was a great cook also. My condolences to Lynn and her family.
