Robert D. Keefer, 92, of Lamar, AR passed away Monday October 26, 2020 in Russellville, AR.
He was born October 22, 1928 in Elwood, IL to his parents, Milford James & Hilda (Gray) Keefer. He is an Army Veteran. He worked for Western Electric for 25 years as a Power Specialist and moved to Arkansas and worked as a farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and old cars.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Milford James and Hilda (Gray) Keefer; son Robert Dale Keefer, JR; brother Wendal Keefer; and sister-in-law Judy Keefer; and two great grandsons Cotter Turner and Quitman Turner.
Robert is survived by his wife of 66 years Wilma June (Miller) Keefer, two sons Jerome Keefer of Lamar, AR; Charles Stephen Keefer of CO; two daughters Brinda and David Melson of Lamar, AR; Linda and Carl Gardner of CO; 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; sister Dolores Davis of CO.
Private family Graveside Service will be held at Lamar Cemetery.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
