Betty Jean Townson, 74, of Dyess, AR passed away Monday, October 12, 2020. She was born February 3, 1946 in Marked Tree, to Lester and Gracie Long. She was retired from American Greetings and a member of Church of Christ. Survivors include her son: Michael Townson and wife Nathalei of Claremore, OK; daughter: Darla Hart and husband Rickey of Clinton, AR; grandchildren: April Frederick, Jayme Taylor, Nick Townson, Tessa Worford, Sammy Ekstrom, Syler Ekstrom, Justin Hart and Jarod Hart; great-grandchildren: Atticus Hart, Ross Hart, Sophie Nick, Max Frederick and Amelia Frederick; brothers: Tommy Long of Matron, IL, Richard Long of Jonesboro, Larry Long of Murray, KY, and Mitchell Long of Alma, AR; and sisters: Zora Hicks of Matron, IL, Linda Brewer of Dyess, and Cora Norman of Marion.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Billy Ray Townson and parents.
