Bobby Dean Rand, age 77, of Omaha, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family. The son of Bill and Mable (Head) Rand, he was born on February 9, 1943, in Denver, Arkansas.
Bob married the love of his life, Mildred Minks, on August 3, 1963, in Amy, Kansas. He was employed by Royal Oak Enterprise as a truck driver for 31 years and retired in 2008. In his younger years, he loved to hunt and fish.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mable Rand.
Bob is survived by his wife, Mildred Rand, of Omaha, Arkansas; his daughter, Carol Sanders, of Branson, Missouri; his sister, Marilyn Rousey, of Berryville, Arkansas; his brother, Jerry Rand, of Omaha, Arkansas; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Gass Cemetery with Faye Fairbanks officiating.
Visitation was held Monday, September 28, 2020, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Amber Wells, Brittany Mott, Tamara Norton, Alexas Browne, Kenneth Browne, Scott Maciegczak, and Dale Sanders.
Roller-Christeson Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines for COVID-19 and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
Our Condolences... Bob was a Great man and kept an eye on things for us. He will be missed.
