David Allen Humphrey, age 66, of Omaha, was born on January 15, 1954, the son of Jim and Lucille (Lynch) Humphrey, in Marshall, Arkansas. He passed from this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, in Harrison, Arkansas. David was preceded in death by his father, Jim Humphrey.

David enjoyed fishing and hunting. His nieces and nephews have fond memories of their fishing trips trolling with him.

David is survived by his mother, Lucille Humphrey, of Omaha; his sister, Jimmie Curtis (Alan), of Omaha; his brothers, Ed Humphrey (Rita) of Harrison, Dale Humphrey (Donna) of Omaha, and Jeff Humphrey (Tiffany) of Texas; his daughter, Vickie Taylor; three grandchildren, Allyissa, Caleb, and Joshua; two very dear friends, Jack Rose of Bergman and Floyd Summers of Oklahoma, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral service was Monday, August 31, 2020, at Burlington Cemetery, with Liz Humphrey officiating.

Pallbearers were Brock Humphrey, Hunter Humphrey, Wayne Humphrey, Dakota Humphrey, James Humphrey, and Greg Humphrey.

Honorary pallbearers were Jack Rose, Floyd Summers, and Eddie Humphrey.


Roller-Christeson Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines for COVID-19 and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
