Jeremy Lynn Gray

of Harriet, AR

August 28, 1982 - August 18, 2020

Jeremy Lynn Gray, age 37 of Harriet, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas, surrounded by his family. He is now walking down the streets of gold and singing praises with the angels. He was born in Harrison, Arkansas on August 28th, 1982 to Ricky Gray and Beverly Middleton Gray.

If you've ever wondered what the definition of unquestioning love "looked" like-it was Jeremy. He brightened the days of those that knew him and he had a smile for everyone. He truly loved being outdoors and enjoyed getting to go on hunting and fishing trips with his family. It goes without question that he loved spending time with family and friends, especially his nephews and nieces. He would let them climb and play all around him, feed him snacks, hold his hand, take rides with him in his chair and just lay next to him in his bed. Jeremy loved to attend church. Music and singing brought him much joy. He was a great blessing and angel to his parents and brother, who loved him beyond words. There is an immeasurable void left in the hearts of everyone that knew Jeremy.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harry "Kelt" and Wanda Middleton; his paternal grandfather, Wilbern Dale Gray; cousin, James Dale Gray; uncle, James Middleton; and aunt, Wilma Jean Chandler.

Survivors include his parents, Ricky and Beverly Gray of the home; one brother Joshua Gray and wife Jenny of Marshall, Arkansas; nephews, Colton and Callyn Gray; nieces, Ressie and Maggie Gray; his paternal grandmother, Janive Gray; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family, who loved him dearly; and his fellow students and workers at Searcy County Special Services.

Funeral services for Jeremy will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 at Harriet Assembly of God Church with Bro. Donnie Horton and Sis. Whitney Sutterfield officiating. Special music will be performed by Whitney Sutterfield, Cadie Hubbard and Tim Middleton. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Friday, August 21st, 2020 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Middleton, Timmy Middleton, Elvin Middleton, Randy Gray, Roger Gray and Bobby Woodall. Honorary Pallbearers will be Colton Gray, Brandon Middleton, Callyn Gray, Ressie Gray, Maggie Gray, Rick McCoy, Johnny Wyatt and Dylan Gray.

Roller-Coffman Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines for COVID-19 and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. We are practicing social distancing and have limited seating. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

In all of the 30 years that I have known you guys, Jeremy always had a smile on his face. It's going to be really hard with him gone, but I'm sure that he's talking everyone's ear off and chasing everyone in Heaven.

RIP Jeremy

So sorry for your loss and so glad for all the many special memories of everybody's lil buddy, Jeremy Gray. I'll never forget several summers back when several of us took the EMT course at the Harriet Assembly of God Church and when his mother would roll him into the building and he would see all of us and that special grin was there for the duration of the evening. God bless your soul and may you forever RIP Love Harold and Susie Young

I’m so sad to hear of Jeremy’s passing but can only smile to think of him running, singing, and talking in Heaven. When he first attended public school, he was in my class. I was the teacher but through working with Jeremy, I learned so much. He noticed and understood everything said and faced most days and obstacles with his big bright smile. Even as a young boy, he appreciated the pretty girls and his face would light up when they noticed him and said hello. Jeremy was so special and will always have a place in my heart. I’ll never forget him. Rest In Peace, buddy.
