George Lee Stricklen, 83, of Little Rock passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020. He was born September 23, 1936 in Colt, Arkansas to the late Edward A. and Ruie (Ponder) Stricklen. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Julia Ann Stricklen and beloved grandmother, Adeline Francis Ponder.

George was an ABA Pastor for 62 years. He surrendered to preach in April of 1958 and preached his first sermon on May 11, 1958. He was known for preaching the Bible and spreading Word of God to all who would listen. George was always surrounded by many family members and friends who genuinely loved him. He will be missed but his memory will be cherished, and his legacy will continue through those who loved and cared for him.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Abbie Stricklen; daughter, Laura Ann Stricklen; and a host of friends who were more like family to George.

Graveside Services will be limited to family. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
