Ruth Ward, 83, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020. She was born March 14, 1937 in Madison, Kansas to the late Margaret and Burl Milner.
She was a member of First United Pentecostal in West Helena, Arkansas and enjoyed reading and playing cards.
She is survived by her five sons, Charles Ward (Dianne) of Marion, Arkansas, Larry Ward of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Floyd Ward (Carol) of Oxford, Mississippi, Ricky Ward of West Helena, Arkansas and Randall Ward (Jennifer) of Malvern, Arkansas; one daughter, Donna Ward of Marion, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bill Hanson of Emporia, Kansas; sister-in-law, Mary Milner of Eureka, Kansas; a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Ward Sr.; parents; several brothers and sisters.
Due to guidelines issued from the federal government and the Center for Disease Control it is recommended that gatherings should not exceed 10 people; therefore, at this time we will not be posting funeral dates and times in order to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19.
