Kathy, I'm sure you don't remember me but we visited with Troy & Willie back in the 80's. We're some of your Okie kinfolk. I have so many priceless memories of your Mom & Dad. From her delicious meals to Troy's wold stories. Before my Grandfather became too elderly to make the journey, I took him back to see Troy & Troy took us down to Landis. We visited the old spring & the old house where my Grandfather was born. We also walked through the cemetery where so many of our family are resting. We went by the cemetery in Marshall last year & visited Willie's grave. I know they're together again in Glory. I'll try to make it again this summer. I'm praying for all your family & I would like to keep in touch if you would.

Kathy,
Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I worked with your dad in the early seventies at Flint Rock Shirt Company. He was a kind and gentle man. The world would be a better place if there were more people like Troy.

I will always cherish my friendship with Troy. He was my mother's first cousin.
I was able to visit with Troy working at the Shirt Factory and will always be grateful for the times he came and visited with dad after he and mom moved to Marshall.
After mom passed away he would come and sit and visit with dad many hours just talking about old times.
God bless you in the time of your loss.

Troy was one of the nicest, kindest people I’ve ever known. He and Willie were a wonderful pair - both are missed and loved by so many. Whenever their names were brought up at church or in conversations, everyone smiled. Hoping the family’s sweet memories of Troy make them smile and give them comfort.

Granny Massey and Papa Troy were two of the most wonderful people I was blessed to have in my life at a young age. They cared for me for years and even though I am grown now with kids I will never forget the wonderful memories. He always had a lap for me to sit on, a silver coin and time to watch the Munsters. I’m sure he is so happy to be rejoined with Granny. ❤️

We attended church with Troy and Willie. Our summers spent at the Civic Center in Marshall meant seeing Troy nearly every day. He was always smiling and would stop and talk to us. He worked hard and I clearly remember that straw hat he wore!
