Emily Fay Patten, age 85 of Harrisonville, Missouri, formerly of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 in Harrisonville. She was born on March 18th, 1934 in Oxley, Arkansas to Noah William Richardson and Sarah Ennis Morrison Richardson.

Fay was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid quilter and loved to garden and work in her flower garden. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking large dinners for her family. Her famous hot roll recipe has been handed down through the family for years. Fay's family and especially her great-grandchildren brought her much joy.

Survivors include her children, Bill Patten of Pindall and Kathy Box and husband Terry of Harrisonville, MO; grandchildren, Kelly (Kenneth) Loomis of Centerton, Suzanne (Grant) Patten-West of Boston, MA, Andy (Jen) Box of Pleasant Hill, MO and Lauren (Kevin) Wade of Harrisonville, MO; great-grandchildren, Tyler Endicott, Jacob Box, Shelby Box, Lezlie Wade, Lillian Wade, Ruby Patten-Miller, Ollie Loomis and Elliot Loomis; and many other cousins, other family and friends who will mourn her passing.

Fay is preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Ennis Richardson; her husband James Patten; and siblings, William Richardson and Millie Richardson.

Funeral services for Fay will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 9th, 2020 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Visitation will be 10:00 till 11:00 AM preceding the service. Burial will be in Kuykendall Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Box, Tyler Endicott, Jacob Box, Kevin Wade, Grant West and Kenneth Loomis. Honorary pallbearers will be Clyde Richardson, Cecil Richardson, Glenn Richardson, Dan Jackson and Bill Davis. I am so sorry for the lose of the best Sister-in-Law there was. I loved her very much for 64 years, always joy to be with. I will miss hearing from her. My love goes out to the family. I am sad that I can't make it there, but my thoughts are with her.
