David Lee Baker, age 75 of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, February 9th, 2020 at his home. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on November 10th, 1944 to Raymond Baker and Cornelia Harris Baker.

David was a Vietnam War Veteran of the United States Army. He was drafted into the war and honorably discharged. He graduated high school in Leslie. He went on to attend Twin Lakes Vo-tech machine shop and graduated with his certificate. David worked sheet rock and worked as a machinist with Flintrock for 26 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing with Anthony, Dom and Jr. Upton. He was a member of Leslie Legion and Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Thelma Bower Baker of the home; son, Ronnie Baker and wife Heather of Leslie; brother, Ben Baker and wife Judy of Marshall; sister-in-law, Mava Baker of Harrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends who will mourn his passing. David is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Cornelia Baker; and one brother, Paul Baker.

Funeral services for David will be 11:00 AM Thursday, February 13th, 2020 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Tommy Jolly and Bro. Kelly Johnson officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 till 11:00 AM preceding the service. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery near Marshall, Arkansas. Bearers will be Tracy Bower, Jeremiah Pruitt, Anthony Pruitt, Jeff Brown, Joel Baker, Ricky Deckard and Glenn Watts. Honorary bearers will be James Ray, Anthony Upton, Domnic Upton and Marty Upton Jr.

Thelma, Ronnie, Heather and family I am so sorry for your loss. David was always a quiet man but so very likeable. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by all who knew him.
