Joyce Mae Harderson, 78 of Bentonville, AR, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 in Bentonville, AR. Joyce was born November 20, 1940 in Clarksville, AR to Joe William & Letha Mae (Wood) Stewart. Joyce was of the Christian faith and a member of First Baptist Fort Smith AR. She loved the Lord, her family and loved family gatherings so she could cook and bake for them. She had a secret ingredient in every recipe, Love. She enjoyed baking, canning (first place winner in Arkansas State fair), flower gardening, sewing and reading. Joyce was a Homemaker and previously worked in school cafeterias in Oklahoma and Arkansas and at Singer Company in Clarksville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband Basil Harderson, Brother-in-Law Jim Dwyer; nephew Michael D Stewart.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Deanna Pritchett of Rogers, AR; son Alex Harderson of Humboldt, KS; Sister-in-law: Louise Fredrick of Osceola IN; two brothers Max (Sandy) Stewart of Fort Smith, AR, and Bill (Lola) Stewart of Clarksville, AR: Mary Dwyer of Maumelle, AR: eight grandchildren; three Great grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral Home
Joyce's Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 27, 2019 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, AR with Pastor Ernie VanDusseldorp officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery with Max Stewart, Don McCollough, Tom Collins, Brent Coffee, Allen Capps, and Bill Stewart serving as pallbearers.

So sorry for your loss. I just loved Joyce so much. She was one of the best cooks around. I always enjoyed going with my Granny and Grandad to visit them. I have lots of fond memories.
She was a good woman she will be missed prayers go out to all the family.
So sorry to hear about Joyce !!! My husband,Bennie, is a cousin to Basil !!! So I've known both of them a long time !!! Played music with Basil down through the years !!! God Bless both of their families!!!
