Alyce Carter Thomas of Osceola, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Osceola Therapy and Living. She was born December 13, 1918, in Calhoun City, Mississippi to Grover and Beulah Carter. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Osceola, where she was a member of Eastern Star. She was a Secretary at Crompton's, The Mississippi County Library and Osceola High School; she also enjoyed sewing and was an Artist. Survivors include her sons: Joe (Mary) Thomas and Walter (Becky) Thomas; grandchildren: Mary Jo (Paul) Henry, Carter A. Thomas and David W. (Breanna) Thomas; great-grandchildren: Andrew Henry, Charles Henry, Catherine Henry, Silas Thomas, Saul Thomas, Corbin Thomas; Collin Thomas and Adam Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband: Joe H. Thomas; her parents and one sister.
Condolences to Walter and Joe and the Thomas family. She was a great neighbor, and I was able to visit with her when she came to my mothers funeral in July 2004. She will be greatly missed!
One of the sweetest ladies ever. She was beautiful inside as well as outseide. Love to the family.
