Sorry to learn belatedly of the passing of Gary. Our sympathy to the Moore family. I got to know Gary through my work with the Sacred Heart of Jesus' Disaster Response Team. He was very dedicated to his ministry and often shared his expertise and Christian philosophy with our team for which we were very thankful. John and Carolyn Bodensteiner

I knew Gary working with him at Southwestern Bell. He was always taking time to help me & others with our computer programs. He was just a good man & loved his family. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I can’t imagine the loss you feel.

I was stunned to hear of Gary's passing today. He was quiet man who was always willing to help others in need. I enjoyed being his teammate on the Village senior softball blue and green team for the last 4 years. When I looked for him in the dugout I often noticed that he was out coaching on 1st or 3rd base. He never complained about his illness while he was playing ball. He was an asset to our team and even this year he always gave us his best effort with a batting average of 650 this season. He will be missed and thought of often by all of us who knew him.

Our heart felt condolences go out to the Moore Family on behalf of all of the Long family. It was a blessing to have had your family as our neighbors during the early 70 s in West Memphis. Although we haven’t seen each other in many years, I still cherish the memories we had together. My prayers are going up for all of you.

Thoughts and Prayers are with you!

Rest in Peace Good Soldier ....we grew up together in a tough environment and you excelled in everything you did....a friend to everyone you met....after school we all drifted in different ways but I thought of you often when stories were told about the 11th street ball games....You have been a Blessing to so many...Rest in Peace...

Gary was a true servant of the Lord and a gentleman. He enjoyed serving others and helping them in anyway possible. It was a blessing to be his pastor and to see his excitement in beginning the disaster relief ministry. He along with other faithful men have helped so many people and families. I am sure Jesus has a special ministry for him to do in heaven and he is in that process now. Thank you Gary, "well done"!

To our Brother-n-law, Ken and family,

Donna and I are saddened by the news of your father, I never had the chance to meet him personally but from our conversations we shared I know exactly what kind of Father he was. If I found any comfort, it was that you were able to be with him and your family in his final hours. He is with our Lord and will forever be watching over his wife and children from heaven. Cherish the memories for they will last a life time. God bless you all, the Moore family will be in our prayers.
