Gleason "Hez" Bearden, 86, of Benton passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017. He was born August 7, 1931 in Ardmore OK, and is preceded in death by his parents; sister; brother; two sons, Danny and Van Bearden; step-son, Mickey McGuire; and grandson, Derek. Hez retired in 1991 from Alcoa.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Bonnie Bearden; daughter, Anita Fulton; two sons, Troy Bearden and Billy Bearden; two step-sons, Steve McGuire (Lisa) and Richard McGuire (Becky); two daughters-in-law, Celeste Clark and Marsha Bearden; sister, Laverna Colvin; twelve grandchildren, Michael Fulton, Jason Bearden, Crystal Walters, Tiffany Kelley, Ryan Bearden, Jenny Patton, Janna Clements, Todd McGuire, Brice McGuire, Mickey McGuire Jr., Michele McGuire, and Shawn McGuire; eleven great-grandchildren, a very special uncle Bill Stimpson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Pastor Clay Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Daryl Warford, Eric Warford, Brock Warford, Darren Warford, Von Puska, Roger Frazier, and Randy Carter.
