Tal was one of the kindest person I have had the honor of knowing. He never came to a survey without a smile on his face. He also was very comforting when I lost my son and husband with his sympathy and his kind words of encouragement and support. Tal you will be truly missed by so many.

To Marilyn, Bob, Sally and all of your family--
I was very saddened to hear of Tal's passing. Way too young! While Tal and I had not stayed in touch that much over the years, I have always considered him a good friend and I have very fond memories of the time we spent together--both growing up on "L" street as youngsters and later on in junior high and high school. I will never forget our 1976 Key Club float trip where I messed up big time and directed us to the wrong landing a few miles down from the state park--I thought Tal was going to kill me--he would have had good reason to--but he eventually forgave me and we were able to share a few laughs about the episode! I regret that I will not be able to attend the memorial service tomorrow, but I will be with all of you in spirit. Tal was a great man who will indeed be missed!--Mark Murphy

And funny, always good for a laugh about something! I am so very sorry for your loss of a wonderful man! Such a young man. Your family has my thoughts and prayers.
