Finis Albert Shoptaw of Little Rock died Saturday, May 13, 2017. He was born in England, AR to the late Pearl Buird Shoptaw and Grant Shoptaw, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include the love of his life Omagene, three brothers, Robert Elliott, Richard Elliott, and Johnney Elliott; two sister, Mabblea Roberts, and Mary Teal; two sons, Lynn Hyke, and Hank Smith; one special great-nephew Alex Roberts; several nieces and nephews and his dog ''pup''.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Revival Fellowship Church in Benton Ar, with Rev. Hank Smith and Rev. Richard Elloitt officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bauxite Ar.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, May 17th at Roller Ballard Chapel.

So sorry to hear about Finis.. I always remember him smiling and being happy when I was little and would go with my brother and Tammie to see him and his wife. My prayers and thoughts are with the family especially his wife . Yvonne Kirkendoll Limon

My family knew Finis years before I did, we were all in the same community together. I got to know him at Avilla Grocery where he would stop by for a cup of coffee each morning and visit while I worked, telling me great stories of his life. I will forever fondly remember him.
