Jewel Bowman, 75, of Moro, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. She was born Friday, August 22, 1941 to Lonnie and Ola Hendrix Parson.
Jewel is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years Floyd Bowman, of the home; two sons, Melvin Bowman (Diane), of Marianna, Arkansas; Joey Bowman (Betsy), of Haynes, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Eric Bowman, Heath Bowman, Hunter Bowman, Kourtney Brown, Matthew Brown, two great-grandchildren, Brooke Bowman, Hadley Harrison, two sisters; Pearlie Mae Wooten of Brinkley, Arkansas; Louise Compton (Henry), of Moro, Arkansas; and three brothers, Floyd Parson, Glen Parson both of Moro, Arkansas; and Lonnie Parson (Sue), of Searcy, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and five brothers.
Mrs. Bowman loved to play games especially dominos. Family was the most important thing to her. She loved the Lord and was a very devoted Christian lady.
Services for Jewel will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Harvestland Church in Moro, Arkansas with Reverend Arnold Gwathney and Pastor Mike Sanders officiating. Jewel Faye, you are SO missed! I know you're with Jesus!!! You are no longer blind! You RUN on streets of gold....Yet, your legs no longer hurt.
You were my SIL even before I was born! I literally grew up with your 2 boys plus Randy! Not sure how you handled our fights......without killing us!!!
This world is a horrible place!! Before long, either God will call me home or Jesus will return for his bride!! What a glorious day that will be!!!
Henry and I love and miss you more than words can ever explains!!!
We're doing what we can for Brother.... there are no words that fully describes his sadness!!

Her Sing. The Trio What a Beautiful Voice She Had. And to Know she is Now Singing in Heaven's Choir without a breathing problem or anything to hinder her; just imagine how awesome that is sounding now and she is enjoying it so much the more. Makes homesick just thinking how much pleasure she is having. I want to be ready to go. So sorry we are not able to be with yall today but our thoughts and prayers are there.
