Harold ''Walter'' Zimdars, 77, of Russellville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Paris. Walter was born on January 3, 1949, in Dalton, Illinois to his parents, Walter Leonard Zimdars and Mary Alice (Bell) Zindars. He worked as an Assistant Manager for Gibson Retail Store in Russellville, Arkansas and as an Assistant Manager for Dave Cooks Sporting Goods in Grand Junction, Colorado. He enjoyed hunting small game around his house, fishing, reloading rifle shells, working on old vehicles, making leather belts, doing leather carvings and four wheeling in his Jeep Wrangler.
He is preceded in death by his previously mentioned parents and his sister, Harlene Alice Rayburn.
He is survived by his daughter, Christina Zimdars of Dardanelle, Arkansas; other family members and close friends.
The family will host a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2026, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Russellville, Arkansas officiated by Rev. Joshua Schooping and Rev. Darrell Kobs.
Burial of the cremated remains will be at Rocky Mounds Cemetery in Fouke, Arkansas after the memorial service at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
