May 2, 1949 - March 16, 2026

Roberta Vaughan (born Roberta Faye Oels on May 2, 1949), age 76, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1967 and went on to earn a business degree from Draughon Business College in Springfield, Missouri.

While working at Yellow Freight Systems in Springfield, she met and married Don Adams. Together they had a son, Brian Adams, who now resides in Longmont, Colorado.
She is survived by her son Brian; her brother, Doug Oels, and his wife, Sherrill; her nephew, Aaron; her aunt, Ivonne, of Mountain Home; and her aunt, Lois Hopper, of Springdale. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Oels, on January 27, 2015.

In accordance with Roberta's wishes, no services are planned. Cremation is under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home.

Roberta was known for her warmth and her gift in the kitchen. She was an excellent cook, and her son fondly remembers her sour cream pork chops, ''world-famous'' green beans, and creamy mashed potatoes as some of the best home-cooked meals he ever had.

''My mom was the most caring, thoughtful, generous, wise, intuitive, and loving mother a son could ever hope for,'' Brian shared. Roberta will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
