Peggy Lou Tutor Jones

of Conway, AR

August 29, 1941 - March 1, 2026

Peggy Lou Tutor Jones was born, August 29,1941 in Wynne, Arkansas. Her parents were John Wesley and LaDora Gilmer Tutor. She married the love of her life, Harry Wesley Jones on December 25,1959.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Wesley Jones of 66 years; her daughter, Kimberly Reed and her husband, Johnny of Conway Arkansas. Grandchildren, Alli Whitehead and husband, Daniel, and Tripp Reed. Great-grandchildren, Dax Reed Whitehead and Duncan John Whitehead. Brother, Jon Tutor and wife, Misty of Damascus, Arkansas.

Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Elsie Farris, Dorthy Baker, Christeen Stuart, Willisteen Clark, Barbara Dane, Juanice Main, Ethel Shempert and infant sister. Brothers, George Tutor, Van Tutor, and infant brother.

Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who she called "her sweethearts", were her world. They made each and every day a little brighter.

Peggy retired from the Cross County Courthouse after 37 years of service, sixteen of those years she had the privilege of being the County and Probate Clerk. She truly enjoyed serving the people of Cross County. After retiring, they moved to Vilonia to be closer to their family. They were faithful members of Friendship Baptist Church.

Peggy was a strong woman of faith. She was a known prayer warrior for her family and friends.

Truly a lady of faith, prayer warrior and servant of Christ!! Peggy and I were best friends. Oh, how I will miss her! My heart is broken, but, one day we will be reunited in Heaven!!
