Patricia Sue Hosto Taylor

of Roland, AR

September 9, 1942 - February 15, 2026

Patrica Sue Hosto Taylor, 83 , of Roland, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026.

Pat was born on September 9, 1942 to Edna and Edmund Hosto, in Bigelow, AR. As a child, Pat loved riding her family horse Daisy and playing basketball in school. She graduated from Joe T. Robinson High School in 1960 and went on to receive an associate's degree from the Arkansas Society of X-ray Technicians in 1962. She was very proud of her profession as an x-ray tech at AR Children's Hospital where she worked for 46 years. In 1962, she married her high school sweet heart and love of her life, Don Taylor. Together they shared 55 happy years of marriage and raised an amazing son Jason. They loved traveling and visiting their friends and family around the world and made many memories together. Jason was their pride and joy but their hearts burst with pride when their one and only grandson, Fisher was born in 2008. She was an amazing granny and they had a very special bond.

Pat had a love for the Lord and wanted everyone around her to share in that love. She was longtime member of Natural Steps Baptist Church and was an active part in her church and community. She enjoyed leading her Sunday school class and teaching vacation bible school.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings: Edmund ''Sonny'' Hosto, Lester Hosto and Betty Svoboda.

She is survived by her son, Jason Taylor (Traci) of Little Rock and their son Fisher; brother, Roger Hosto of Perryville and many other family and friends near and far.

Our family would like to thank everyone at Brookdale Chenal Heights and Hospice Home Care for the exceptional care and love you showed to Pat. We would also like to say thank you to her long-time friend, Charlie Collins. Pat and Don loved you and Brenda so much. And a special thank you to her closest friend, Dollie McIntire. She loved you like a sister. Our family is very grateful for all you've done for Pat and our family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Natural Steps Baptist Church.
