Charles ''Chuck'' Anhalt, 81, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at his home with his loved ones by his side.
Chuck was born September 4, 1944, in Paris, Arkansas to his parents, John William Anhalt and Catherine Marie (Schulte) Anhalt. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during Vietnam and a member of the Cooties at the VFW Outpost #2256 in Benton. He worked many different jobs throughout his life, as a forklift operator for Alcoa Manufacturing in Washington, as a Supply Manager for Delta Manufacturing in Benton, Arkansas, a delivery driver for Hiner Oil Company in Little Rock and drove for Synder Trucking making deliveries. Chuck was a jack of all trades, he enjoyed working on and riding motorcycles and trail bikes. Whether it was welding, plumbing or electrical, he was always willing to help others out with whatever they needed done. He loved spending time with his family going camping, riding dirt bikes, sitting and watching old westerns or just relaxing while reading old books.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Georgie Anhalt and sisters, Mary Ann White and Terry McPhillips.
He is survived by his son, Ron Anhalt of Greenwood; a daughter, Michelle Breeze of Oregon; his brother's Thomas Anhalt and wife, Alice of New Blaine and Ed Anhalt of Sherwood; Sister's Lucy Helton and husband, James of Paris and Janey Mertin of Paris; brother-in-law, Pat McPhillips of New Blaine; two granddaughters, Monica Wernar and Katie Stephens; five great grandchildren; several other family members and friends.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at St Scholastica Cemetery in New Blaine on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. officiated by Fr. Kevin Atunzu
Cremation arrangements and graveside memorial service are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
