May 1, 1942 - February 15, 2026
Roy Salsbury, 83, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed from this life February 15, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Covina, California to Jasper and Willa (Pilgrim) Salsbury on May 1, 1942.
Roy lived life with his heart wide open, always ready to help anyone in need and leaving a trail of smiles wherever he went. Known as the rock for his family and a friend to all, he was a man who could be counted on, whether it was lending a hand, sharing a laugh, or giving wise advice.
A true adventurer and craftsman, he loved fast cars, building sand buggies that had a permanent place in family memories, and tinkering in his garage with motors hanging everywhere. From constructing his own trucks to running his trucking businesses, he embraced life with creativity, courage, and unstoppable energy that inspired everyone around him.
Above all, he was a happy-go-lucky spirit who worked hard, played hard, and skidded across every finish line of life with a grin and a spark in his eyes. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the love he poured into his family: Dana Mitchell Salsbury, LaDawn Salsbury, and Debbie Salsbury, and beloved sister JoAnn Hawkins, along with countless friends and neighbors who felt his kindness and generosity firsthand.
We celebrate a life well-lived, a heart that never quit, and a man who will always be remembered as a force of joy, strength, and love.
