Peggy Lynn Sutton Hooker of West Memphis departed this life on Tuesday, February 10th, 2026, surrounded by family at her home at the age of 74 years old. She was born February 05,1952, in Marked Tree, AR, the daughter of Earnest Helen Sutton and Velma Sutton.
Peggy was devoted to her daughters, her grandson, and especially loved her nieces. Her love for the ones that meant the most to her could be seen a mile away. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. She was precious, gracious and kind, and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was an excellent cook and loved to serve large meals for friends and family. She adored her kittles, Moewy and Patches, and her grand Remi Dog whom she especially loved to feed table scraps.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Russell Ellis Hooker, and their daughter, Donna Marie Hooker, a sister Helen Marie Sutton, and a brother Earnest Richard Sutton.
She is survived by her daughters Angela Coleman and Shelley Hooker, her grandson Mathias Johnson (Olivia) of Clearwater, Florida, and two sisters, Barbara Vines of Melbourne, Florida and Sandra Dickson of Cotter, Arkansas.
