Larry Wayne Jones of Conway, Arkansas died February 2, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Dorothy Jones and his brother Jeff. He is survived by his wife Anita, daughter, Gwen Rowe and her husband Joseph Christopher, and son Tony. Also survived by his four grandchildren, Matt and Alex Jones and Tori and Ally Rowe. He had three great grandchildren, Aubrey, Saylor, and Piper Jones. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert, Bill, and Greg.
Larry was born in Magnolia, Arkansas July 8,1954. Larry married the love of his life Anita in 1973. He enlisted in the Army in 1975 where he served as a chaplain's assistant for the first part of his career and finished as a recruiter retiring in 1995. Larry and Anita also served as host parents to two exchange students, Marie Johansen and Juan Calderon.
Larry loved his lifelong pets, Lady, Jack and Binks. Larry lived his life as a strong Christian and was a member of Pickles Gap Baptist church. Larry was a force to be reckoned with in life, when he moved to the Camden area and discovered they had no youth soccer program that his kids had always been a part of, he started one. That's who he was, if it meant something to someone and he could do something to make it better, he did. He will be missed.
There will be a visitation from 5:00pm-7:00pm, on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. Graveside services will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Arkansas State Veterans cemetery in NLR, Arkansas.

Anita, I am so sorry to hear about Larry's passing. He was a wonderful man and the two of you were a match made in Heaven. Sending you my prayers and love.

Anita, I'm sorry that you lost your lifetime love. Live on the memories and enjoy the children and grandchildren that your love gave you. Love and prayers.
