Mickey Blake Butler, 48, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Brownwood Life Care Center in Fort Smith. He was born on June 24, 1977 in Russellville, Arkansas to his parents, Mickey and Beth (Hardwicke) Butler.
Blake was dedicated into First Christian Church in Paris when he was two weeks old. He was always the happiest when he was at his home at Brownwood Life Care Center where he enjoyed going to the cafeteria, going outside to enjoy the outdoors, visiting with his friends, and caregivers who were more like family. He also loved when his nieces came to visit him.
Blake is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mort and Betty Hardwicke and Vernon and Lucille Butler; his uncle, John Hardwicke and his aunts, Joann Butler and Barbara (Butler) Haney.
Blake is survived by his parents, Mickey and Beth (Hardwicke) Butler of New Blaine; his sister, Andrea (Butler) Robertson and husband Kendal of Paris; his nieces, AnnaBeth Kate Baumgartner and husband Randon of Paris and KenLeigh Blake Needham and husband Ethan of Paris; his great nieces, Lainey Kate Baumgartner and BlakeLeigh Lynn Needham; his great nephew, Breckon River Baumgartner; his aunts and uncles, Carlene (Butler) and Don Balch, Bob and Becky Hardwicke, Bryan and Sandra Hardwicke, Jane Ann and Randy Koch; his great aunt, Betty Hardwicke; numerous cousins and the beloved staff and caregivers of Brownwood Life Care Center.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Paris.
Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in McKendree Cemetery in Subiaco under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Brownwood Life Care Center, 7500 Wells Lake Road, Fort Smith, AR 72916 to go towards their playground expansion.
