Joyce Bratton of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Jan 21 2026. Born on Feb 5 1942 in Forrest City, Arkansas.
Joyce went to school to become a RN while raising her two young sons and went on to work at the VA hospital and at Shands Teaching Hospital in Gainesville Florida.
Preceded in death by her loving husband Roy Bratton, her son Roy Bratton Jr, her grandson Michael Bratton II, her father Luther Duckworth, her mom Annie May Vance, her sisters Norma Jean and June Metz, and brother John Duckworth.
Joyce leaves behind her son Michael Bratton and daughter-in-law Tinesha Taylor
In addition to her immediate family she leaves behind her sister Judy Belk, her niece Tanya Duckworth, her brother-in-law Julius Bratton and her sister-in-law Kaye Duckworth.
Funeral will be 10:30am, Friday, February 13, 2026, in the chapel of Roller-Drummond Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will host visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
