Lauro Moctezuma, Sr., age 67, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on January 31, 2026. He was born on August 1, 1958, in San Diego de la union Guanajuato, Mexico, to Glafira Moctezuma and Guadalupe Rodriguez.

Lauro completed both high school and college in Mexico, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology. He spent three years as a biology teacher before moving to the United States, where he worked as a fish farmer for over 10 years at Anderson Farms and 15 years at Harry Saul Minnow Farm.

Lauro was known for his love of helping others and giving back to his community and was a devoted family man who loved having cookouts with his family. He was also a gun enthusiast, enjoyed gambling, and loved watching soccer, especially cheering for his favorite team, El Cruz Azul.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his uncle, Marcos Moctezuma.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jorge Antonio Moctezuma, Marcos Moctezuma, Lauro Moctezuma, Jr., Lauro Dioney Moctezuma, Laura Maria Moctezuma, and Mariel Veronica Moctezuma; his former wife, Maria Torres; grandchildren, Alan Sebastian Moctezuma, Mia Nichole Moctezuma, Marco Jimmy Moctezuma, Jason Moctezuma, and Johan Moctezuma; his brother, Marco Moctezuma; his sister, Margarita Moctezuma; and many other beloved family members and friends.
