Barry Paul Sanders, Sr., 64, of Poplar Grove, Arkansas, passed away at his home.

Barry was born on June 12, 1961, in Memphis, Tennessee. He spent many years working for Doughboy Manufacturing, where he was known as a hardworking and dependable employee. Barry was a Christian and was widely regarded as a man of his wordā€"honest, trustworthy, and loyal to his family and friends.

In his free time, Barry enjoyed working on puzzles, repairing small engines, carpentry projects, and race cars. He also loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his son, Barry Paul Sanders, Jr. of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his daughter, Ashley Blair of Paragould, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Braden Sanders, Anna Sanders, Addie Sanders, and Kealie Blair.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Steve Sanders, and his sister Lisa Ecklehoff.

A graveside service will be held at 3pm Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Andrew Gibson will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Randy Warfield, Scott Henson, Leslie Kelley, and Bryan Chism.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Morrow and Reggie Smith.
