Alice L. Housley went to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 1, 2026. She was born to the late Elbert Leon and Maysel Marie (Smith) Edwards in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 8, 1949.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Maysel, husband of 39 years, Jacky Housley, brother, Danny Edwards and father-in-law, Jason Housley.

Alice married Jacky Housley on April 3, 1976, they spent their time together loving life and raising their son in and around Searcy, Arkansas. After Jacky's passing in November 2014, Alice began collecting rocks and taking trips with her granddaughter, Savannah aka ''Vanna'' and friends. What she loved most was spending time with her granddaughter Vanna during their Branson trips. Alice was an office manager until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Dustin Housley and his special friend, Christina Pragner, granddaughter, Savannah ''Vanna'' Housley, bonus grandson, Leo Pragner, sister, Beverley (Russell) McConnell of Bryant, Arkansas, mother-in-law, Nora Jean Housley of Leslie, Arkansas, sisters-in-law, Janice Edwards of Cabot, Arkansas, Nancy Morris of Bryant, Arkansas, brothers-in-law, Ronnie(Theresia) Housley of Marshall, Arkansas, Randall (Ann) Housley of Leslie, Arkansas and a host of family and friends who loved her and will miss her.

Her nephew, Brother Scott Housley will preside over her service. Pallbearers are Brandon Housley, Eric Rigsby, Lane Housley, William Morris, Ronnie Housley, Randall Housley, and Savannah Housley will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation services are Friday, February 6, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. with funeral services following at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. A private family burial will follow the service as she will be laid to rest beside Jack.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations may be made to the Liberty Cemetery Building Fund C/O Nora Jean Housley, PO Box 1165 Housley Loop, Leslie, Arkansas 72645.

Very special person to me. Best of friends when we lived in Jacksonville AR. Still very close. Would often make a detour to Searcy when in rt to/from hometown in E TX.
