Sondra Lavey, age 88 of Conway, Arkansas passed away on January 25, 2026. She was born on March 6, 1937.
She is preceded in death by her husband John, daughter Johnnie Lee, her parents Paul and Edna Melcher.
She is survived by her son Jeff (Kelly) Lavey of Alexander, Arkansas, sister Patsy (Glen) Beran of Nebraska, brother Michael (Christ) Melcher of Jacksonville, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Jason Lundvall, Katie (Ted) Laudermilk, Crystal (Terry) and Douglas Lavey, two great grandchildren: Andrea and Makenzee Jenkins and a host of friends and family.
There will be a memorial that will be determined at a later date.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I know it is never easy to loose your Mom. Sandy was my coworker at Kroger. She loved playing Yahtzee with me and my mom. She looked forward to getting her paper and do the crossword puzzles. Later in life she looked forward to our Kentucky Fried Chicken lunches and peanut M&M's for desert. In Jesus Love, Susan Woole
