August 21, 1995 - January 22, 2026

Caleb Scott Sackhoff, 30, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, January 22, 2026. He was born on August 21, 1995, in Conway, Arkansas to Jeffrey and Annette Sackhoff.

Caleb was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Don Sackhoff and Vivian Sackhoff; and maternal grandmother Jenetta Murphy.

Caleb loved cooking, being outdoors, working out every day, deer hunting, duck hunting, and working on his truck. He especially enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, Allie Harvey. He was sweet-natured, kindhearted and hard working. He was also a perfectionist in everything, and he will forever be remembered for his fun antics and sense of humor.

Caleb was a Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout, who also completed the Triple Crown Patch. He graduated with honors from Conway High School in 2013. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Administration and Management, cum laude, and with an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice, cum laude. While at Arkansas Tech he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.

Caleb joined the Maumelle, Arkansas Fire Department in August 2024 and proudly served the community as a member of Engine Company 1 (B-Shift). He was a graduate of Firefighter Standards Class 2024-E at the Arkansas Fire Training Academy, where he earned the Academic Achievement Award. He was a nationally licensed Emergency Medical Technician and a member of the International Association of Firefighters.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; brother Kyle (Rachel) Sackhoff and niece Ruth of Conway, maternal grandfather Gene Murphy of Pea Ridge, aunts and uncles Becky (Troy) Welch of Rogers, Richard (Holly) Sackhoff of Wichita, Kansas, Tamara (Steve) McMillan of Conway; Debra (Rick) McLay of Topeka, Kansas, several cousins, and a host of friends.

There are no words to lessen the pain with the loss of a child. My heart aches for you, Jeff, Annette & Kyle. Even though I never met Caleb, I know he was an amazing young man and made you guys so proud.
The Lord called him home to serve as one his beautiful angels.
Sending big hugs

To Nette & Jeff, I can't imagine what you are going through. All I can say is how I hurt for you and with you. You both raised an incredible young man. Caleb was such a sweet person and he always had a smile on his face and ready to joke with you. I was proud of him and will deeply miss him. Rest easy my sweet nephew.
Love,
Aunt Becky
