Harold Dean McDonald, 89, of Conway, Arkansas, went peacefully to be with the Lord on January 11, 2026. He was born on July 15,1936, in Salem, Arkansas to Noel A and Cleo McDonald.

Harold retired from the University of Central Arkansas after many years as financial aid director. He spent decades assisting thousands of families making college attainable and affordable.

He was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church in Conway. Harold was deeply devoted to his family and cherished every moment they spent together.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Winnie and his son Steve McDonald.

Harold is survived by his son, Jack McDonald, sister, Kathryn Huett (Royce) and his Aunt Imogene Burrow that is 105 years old. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 14, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 10:00am at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park
