Jack A. Vowell, 72, of Paragould, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born on April 4, 1953, in Marmaduke to Cecil and Virginia Vowell. Jack was a machinist and was of the Mormon faith. He enjoyed the outdoors and going for walks, horses, karate, and was candy man to the kiddos.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Cecil Vowell, Timothy Vowell, sisters, Joann and Kimberlee.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jack A. Vowell II (Kim), Jeremy Vowell; daughters, Amy Vowell, and Amanda Mullins (James); grandchildren, Donovan, Ethan, Alex, Jack, Kate, James, Olivia, Huck, Noah, Austin, and Levi; great grandchildren, William, Phillip, Ezra, and Cruz; brothers, Micheal, Andrew, Harvey, Jonathan, William, Robert; sisters, Linda, Patricia, Brenda, Jessica, and Thressa.
A memorial service will be held on, Saturday, January 17, 2026, 1:00 pm at The Church of Latter-Day Saints of Jesus Christ, 2611 Purcell Rd., Paragould, AR, 72450.
Visitation will be from 12 noon, until service time.

Uncle Jackie was a generous soul that found joy in giving to others. He was a tough nut to crack but truly had a heart of gold. I'm praying for his children and grandchildren, my mom, aunts, uncles, and cousins-that you will be filled with peace. He will always be with us!

I met jack in 2013, and I could tell that he was a special person, he welcomed me with and he said that I reminded him of his aunt Silvia, he's always been very nice to me and he will be forever missed by everyone,

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Jack. He was truly a funny man, and I'll always remember his smile and laugh. The visits to my mom and dad's house in Arkansas- such great memories.
