Billie Darlene Robertson

of Yellville, AR

November 1, 1934 - January 8, 2026

Billie Darlene Robertson, age 91, of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on November 1, 1934, in Summit, Arkansas, to her parents Ewin McBee and Della Pangle McBee.

Billie brought warmth and laughter to those around her. Known for her quick wit and love of storytelling, she could brighten any room. With a mischievous glint in her eye, she would drop a story from back in the day with a punchline that might make you blush, or maybe just a masterfully placed shock factor to make you laugh.

Always the host at the traditional family holiday gatherings, she was an excellent cook. She became well known for her homemade cookies that she frequently gifted to family and friends which landed her the nickname ''Cookie Granny'', a moniker she was proud to wear.

Her vibrant personality left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Billie's presence was both comforting and unforgettable.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Billy) Moreau, Bobby Robertson, Daughter-in-Law Cindy Robertson, Linda (Mike) Scribner, and Suzy Robertson; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by extended family members and friends who will fondly remember her life and legacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ewin and Della McBee; her husband, Rob Robertson; her son, Russell Robertson; her brothers, Wayne McBee, Ward McBee, Hal McBee, and Larry Wooten; and her sisters, Jean Marshall, Neva Wooten, and Betty Yost.

Funeral services will be held on January 17 at 12:00 p.m. in the Roller Burns Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ed St. Clair officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Services are in the care of Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.

I am so sorry I am behind the times and just reading this sad news this evening. Billie was close friends of my mother and father in law, Ann and Herman Foster of Yellville. I use to serve several of their friends at the Front Porch Restaurant back in the 2000's and up to 2010 and they were such a fun group to be around. Harold and Carrie Mears come to mind and sadly memory fails me now. I am picturing faces I can't put names to at this moment in time which makes me very sad I want to offer my deepest heartfelt sympathies to Billie's surviving family members and friends. She was an awesome lady and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

"What made us Friends in the long ago when first we met Well, I think I know; the best in me and the best in you hailed each other because they knew that always and always since life began, our being Friends was part of God's plan." Rest in peace my Summit Friend.
