Charles Lee Idleman, age 78, of Vilonia, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 9, 2026. He was born April 4, 1947, at Koshkonong, Missouri to the late Aubro and Ruby Idleman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife of 56 years, Dorajean Idleman. Survivors include his children, Charles Lee Idleman II (Stacy) and Doralee Chandler (Jeff); granddaughters, Mikaela Bailey (John), Elizabeth Chandler, Kaitlyn Chandler, and Alyssa Chandler; one great-grandson Mason Bailey; and his St. Joseph Catholic Church family and friends.
Charles grew up in Koshkonong, Missouri where he attended high school before joining the United States Air Force, October 6, 1966. He served four years active duty, including a tour in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War, achieving the rank of Sargent. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, he began a life-long career in the concrete industry where he retired to assist in the founding and operation of Circle I Feed in Vilonia. Charles never met a stranger and loved visiting with his customers.
Charles's faith and family were always his highest priority. He served in the RCIA program at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, alongside his wife welcoming many new Catholics to the church. Despite the many other things going on in his life, he was most fulfilled watching his granddaughters grow and develop into young ladies. He was always there to support them and encourage them in their dreams.
