Charles Bill Carter, of Bauxite, was born on September 8, 1950. He was 75 years old when God called him home on January 3, 2026. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.
Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who lived his life rooted in faith. He worked for Arkansas Face and Veneer for 20 years and later gave back to others by volunteering with Saline Hospice for several years. Charles put the love of God into everything he did, always serving others with kindness, compassion, and a joyful spirit.
He found great happiness in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing and spending time with his grandsons, Charlie Wyatt Wilson and Benjamin Kyle Wilson. He especially enjoyed playing bean bag ball at the Benton Senior Center, sharing laughter and fellowship with friends. Some of his favorite moments were going to dances with his daughter Margie at Civitan and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks with his daughter Cherish. The other great love of his life was his precious great-granddaughter, Chyann Rose Wilson, who brought him endless joy.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Carolyn Kyle Carter; his daughters, Cherish Carter Wilson and Margie Carter; his grandsons, Charles Wyatt Wilson and Benjamin Kyle Wilson (Delinna); and his great-granddaughter, Chyann Rose Wilson. He is also survived by his sisters, Sharron (Sullivan) Elward, Sheila Sullivan Roundsaville (Ronnie), Sherry Sullivan Ward (Billy), and Shelly Sullivan Davis (Tim); along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benny Carter; his stepmother, Louise Carter; his mother, Susie Whitted Sullivan; his daddy, Raymond Sullivan; his brothers, Charles, Duie, and Robert Carter; and his sisters, Shirley Sullivan and Shannon Sullivan Jones.
