Michael ''Mike'' Leaton, age 64, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away on December 31, 2025.
Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend whose life was marked by hard work and a deep love for his family. He spent more than 40 years building a respected career in the print and mail industry, where he was known for his dedication and reliability. Mike believed in doing things the right way and took great pride in providing for those he loved.
Outside of work, Mike had a gift for fixing just about anything. Whether it was a car, a mower, or home improvement project, he was always ready to lend his skills. Music brought him joy, especially country music, and he loved singing karaoke with family and friends. He was an avid fan of thoroughbred horseracing and a lifelong supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. Some of his happiest moments were spent on the lake, surrounded by those he loved most.
Above all else, Mike cherished his family. He was a loving husband to Kim Leaton and a devoted father to his children Justin and Jessica. He was also a proud grandfather to Bennett, Amelia, Owen, and Aspen, and his love and presence will be deeply missed.
Mike is survived by the love of his life, Kim; his children, Justin Leaton (Amber) of Benton, Arkansas, and Jessica Hutchison (Johnny) of Greenbrier, Arkansas; his parents, Ruth and Roger Leaton of Springhill, Kansas; his sister, Kelly Meigs (Michael) Kansas City, Missouri; his brother, Christopher Leaton (Jennifer) of Springhill, Kansas; his four grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mike will be remembered for his steady presence and the love he shared with everyone who knew him. His life was one of purpose, connection, and devotion to the people he loved. He will forever remain in the hearts of his family and those blessed to know him.
There will be a visitation held on January 9th, 2026, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas, starting at 2:00pm, followed by a 3:00pm memorial service.

It was an honor of a lifetime to work with Mike. He was the most dedicated person I have ever been associated with when it came to his profession. On top of that he was a very beloved friend. He fought so hard to see Justin and Jessica fulfill the promise of their young lives. Super dedicated husband and father and grandfather. I loved him dearly and will miss him greatly. Kim I trust he has found peace . Much love to the Leaton Family

My sincerest condolences to Kim & their beautiful family. I remember Mike with youthful fondness, he was truly a good man.

Praying you'll be wrapped in peace through this time

Kim and family-Many prayers for you all in the coming days! ❤️

I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our prayers.

Mike was my son-in-law. I couldn't ask for a better one. I could always count on Mike being there for what ever was needed. I will miss him so very much. He had such a good heart!!

I've been thinking about you all day, Kim.....our long friendship that I cherish. Being Maid of Honor at your wedding. Knowing how much you love Mike. Words of wisdom I was told, today, "do not fear death" are so true. The hard part is living without them. All my love. Carla

I will never forget Mr. Mike. He took me on my very first boat ride, including my first tubing experience where Jessica and a very scared 7th grade version of me had a terrifying amount of fun. Rest easy, Mr. Mike. Sending love and prayers to Jessica, Justin and Ms. Kim.

Kim, everyone will miss Mike. He was a true friend to us. RD always enjoyed you and Mike singing with him. He will be singing Big Blue Note just for Mike because every time RD sang it, Mike said that the song would drive him crazy, it would stay in his head for days. Also, RD enjoyed the trips to Oaklawn and Louisiana Downs with Mike. So many good times. When RD built his shop, Mike was there to do the wiring. He was definitely a man of many talents. Thank you for being our friend, R.I.P. Mike

My thoughts and prayers to the Leaton family especially my favorite PE teacher Coach Leaton. I am a witness of what kind of father Mr. Leaton was by watching his son Justin carry himself around my campus. Coach Leaton was a role model for all my students which was a reflection of how he was raised by his father.

So sorry for you loss Kim . Praying for you. ❤️

Much love and condolences to you all. You are in my prayers and may you feel Gods arms wrapped tightly around you in this time of grief.

So sorry for your loss. Praying for you and your family!

Dear Leaton Family,
Stan and I are sending heartfelt condolences. We thought of Mike so often. We pray for God to bring you peace and comfort at this sad time. We especially lift our sweet niece (Kim) up at this very difficult time, and Justin and Jessica. It is so hard to lose the ones we love so much, but take comfort that Mike is pain free and in the arms of Jesus. Our prayers are with you. Love, Aunt Maggie & Uncle Stan

I'm really sorry for everyone's loss. I remember Mike helping me rebuild the carburetor on my old Nova.
