Ronnie Koch, 69, of Caulksville, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 in Caulksville. He was born on October 13, 1956 in Paris, Arkansas to his parents, Edward John and Stella Marie (Schmitz) Koch.
Ronnie was a graduate of the Paris High School Class of 1975. Before finishing high school he started raising and buying cattle and not long after graduation he started working for Fort Smith Stockyards. Throughout his early years of farming he had a poultry farm but later shifted to a large cattle operation. In 1995 he purchased ownership into the County Line Sale Barn. After 28 years of owning and operating the sale barn he sold out in 2023 and continued to expand and tend to his cattle operation. Away from the farm, Ronnie was a loyal Arkansas Razorback fan, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer on the Hogs. However, nothing gave him greater joy than supporting his grandchildren with their sporting events and their 4-H and FFA livestock projects. He was a faithful member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and Men's club in Paris.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Bill Koch.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joyce (Schluterman) Koch of Caulksville; one daughter, Rhonda Rhein and husband Mark of Caulksville; one son, Ron Koch of Caulksville; two grandchildren, Drake Rhein and Hensley Rhein of Caulksville; four sisters, Margie Benson of Nesbitt, Mississippi, Janie Klaeger of Subiaco, Carolyn Zimmer and husband Butch of Dardanelle and Barbara Forst and husband Gerald of Paris; one brother, Charlie Koch and wife Marilyn of Paris and numerous brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
